Backing up your server

Regularly backing up your server is essential for protecting your data and ensuring quick recovery in the event of data loss or server issues. On our Game Panel (Pterodactyl), backing up your server is straightforward. This guide will walk you through the steps required to back up your server in Pterodactyl, helping you safeguard your data and maintain server reliability.

Step 1: Accessing the Pterodactyl Control Panel

Step 2: Navigating to Server Backup Settings

Once your in the game panel, you can access the backups section by clicking the ‘Backups’ button on the sidebar.

Step 3: Initiating a Manual Backup

Once you’ve clicked the backups option, you’ll be taken to the screen where you can perform backups on your server. To create a backup, click the button where it says ‘Create Backup’.
